A unique editorial model directed by leading figures within the Semiconductor Industry.

The first publication to cover the whole industry: Design-Fabrication-Packaging

Future Fab 31

The 31st edition of Future Fab International and the completion of our second full year as the industry’s only all-digital, all-encompassing technology jour-nal. The last two years have certainly been a ride. From the heights of insanity of the property explosion and consumerism madness to the depths of the banking cri-sis and global recession … all in 24 months. We’ve now published eight issues of Future Fab in its digital format and have been lucky enough to work with some of the brightest minds and call some of the most austere organizations in the world partners, including our latest partner, CEA/Leti.

Future Fab 32 ITRS Issue

This second special annual ITRS Focus issue. We are incredibly honored to have been chosen to be the only publication to dedicate an entire issue to the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors and to have each Technology Working Group write a synopsis of its chapter – it is a true privilege to be able to present this issue to you.

Our aim with this annual issue is to bring the ITRS to a broader audience and to highlight the key technical challenges in a more user-friendly format. In doing so, we also hope to educate more readers of the crossover between chapters so that they get a complete understanding of the challenges facing their particular segment of the industry.

Future Fab 33 Issue

Although shoots of recovery are appearing throughout the industry, there’s still a lot of fear caused by lack of visibility, but it’s certainly an improvement on 12 years ago. Having been involved with the semiconductor indus-try for some 20 years, we have seen many ups and downs – and have been through what we thought was the worst recession only to come out of it stronger and wiser. This is yet another new phase, and as we enter it, it is apparent to us that collabora-tion is far more important than competition, particu-larly in our information sector. It is due to this ethos that we are still here. We focus on working with our readers, partners, advertisers and even our counter-parts at our competition. This is something we are committed to continuing as we move forward.
